Here’s an easy way to meet your neighbors and the officers who serve our area. National Night Out comes to Sunrise on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Public Safety Building, 10440 W. Oakland Park Blvd.
The evening is free for the whole family. There will be live music, snacks, kids’ activities, and a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog.
National Night Out happens in communities all across the country on the first Tuesday of August. The idea is simple: when neighbors and local police know each other, neighborhoods get safer and friendlier.
