American Orchid Society Judging at Flamingo Gardens — Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m., Flamingo Gardens, 3750 S. Flamingo Rd., Davie. The public is invited to watch expert orchid judging in the Mary N. Porter Learning Center and see spectacular blooms up close. Make a day of it at the 60-acre botanical garden and Everglades wildlife sanctuary.
FIFA World Cup 26 in Miami — All weekend. The world’s biggest soccer tournament is being played in the Miami area this summer. Catch the excitement near home, or gather friends to watch the matches together.
