Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 shortcake biscuits (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

Toss strawberries with sugar and let sit 10–15 minutes until juicy.

Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

Slice biscuits in half.

Layer strawberries and whipped cream over the bottom half, then top with the other half.

Add more cream and strawberries on top and serve.
